Northern Lights is one of the three main strains that have revolutionized cannabis cultivation in the past three decades. It was developed as an indoor variety in the late '70s based on Californian genetics. Initially, it was a cross between a stabilized Sativa and an Afghan hybrid. It arrived in the Netherlands as a clone but couldn't be used for stable seed production, so Skunk No1 and Original Haze were used to produce seeds and provide mother plants. Northern Lights has a sweet taste and offers a comfortable and relaxing effect.
